Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.  It has been celebrated as a federal holiday every year since  Thanksgiving is one of the major holidays of the year1863.

thanksgiving is a holiday that I like. the reason is that I get to eat turkey. we all together at home.no school for a week. finally it’s a holiday.
